「令和7年度 東京の林業振興に向けた専門懇談会（第1回）」に参加させていただきました。
2025年8月5日（火）に東京都庁にて行われた令和7年度「東京の林業振興に向けた専門懇談会(第1回)」にて、Boston Dynamicsと共にプレゼンテーションと、Spotのデモンストレーションを行い、小池百合子知事をはじめとする、懇談会にご参加されていた委員の皆様へSpotを紹介させて頂きました。 この会は、森林・林業を取り巻く情勢の変化を踏まえ、早急に取組むべき事項等について、専門家の皆様から御意見をいただくことを目的とした会となっており、今回の会ではSpotのようなロボットが今後どのように私たちの生活に馴染むかをご紹介する、素晴らしい機会となりました。

Boston Dynamics inc.米国およびAPAC地域で、Boston Dynamics社Spotチームの教育・研究向けセールスリーダーを務めています。 過去4年間、研究者や教育者と共に、四足歩行ロボットの利用とその拡大の為に活動してきました。 Spotの顧客は、産業界や政府機関との応用研究、カスタムソフトウェア、教育機関への応用など、さまざまな用途を模索しています。For the US and APAC regions, Ed is the sales lead for education and research for the Spot team at Boston Dynamics. For the past four years, he has worked with researchers and educators to enable and expand their use of legged robots. These Spot customers are exploring applications ranging from using the robot for applied research with industry or government partners, custom software or payload integration, and as a teaching robot.
